Check Out The Sony Ericsson Dolce & Gabbana Jalou!

Sony Ericsson When I first heard that D&G were coming out with a phone, I was absolutely impressed.  If you are a straight-forward type of girl or guy that is very fashion conscious, the Sony Ericsson Dolce & Gabbana Jalou is going to be the phone for you.  This phone is actually a rose color (which it could work for some guys!) and has 24 carat gold plating.  This little piece of technology is designed to look like a diamond and it is actually a very limited edition phone.

The great thing about this phone is that within its 2-inch QVGA display, it actually turns itself into a mirror simply with a press of a button.  The clamshell design is beautiful and it let’s you show off a little while you connect and express.  Now – onto the specs for the Sony Ericsson Dolce & Gabbana Jalou!

This phone has: a 3.2-megapixel camera, music player with TrackID and playnow, video recorder, Bluetooth, stereo FM radio, full browser, YouTube, speakerphone, video calling, A-GPS, Google Maps, Google search, email with support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and Walk Mate step counter.  All which rock!

Pet + Laptop = Luxury … or Disaster?

petegoSo, P@W (which stands for Pet at Work — cute, right?) is this bag. It’s … is it a great idea? That is really a matter of opinion. So … maybe we ought to just talk about what it is for.

Basically, the bag will allow you to carry both your pet (if it is a lapdog or a cat that does not mind close confines; or maybe a ferret or something too, I guess) and your laptop — together. Your laptop and your lapdog, finally together, right?

Now, there are some inherent problems with this idea. First of all, where are you going to take the dog? The office won’t accept it, Starbucks frowns upon that kind of thing if you aren’t, you know, Paris Hilton or something. The park is an option, sure, but … how many of us really want to spend $178 to be able to carry our dog and laptop in the same bag?

Also … what if your dog pees? I’m just saying.

Solar Powered Mobile Multimedia Device

One of the most irritating features of mobile mp4-players, mp3-players and gaming consoles are their extremely bad battery management. For some reason, none of the currently available portable gaming systems allow you to play for more than a few hours, or watch more than a couple movies…

This solar powered mp4-players looks like the perfect solution — recharge while you play/watch — or even recharge your cellphone with the USB-out plug. Excellent! :)

Vuzix iWear, Video Sunglasses

Alright I do realise these are NOT sunglasses, but I could see these making their way into the World Series of Poker as people will be able to actually watch iPod movies without the need of a portable LCD screen or whatnot. Nop, these just mount on your head like sunglasses do, allowing you to watch high-res video footage, games, etc… with the feel of a huge screen because of the short viewing distance…

I’m extremely impressed when looking at the photos over at the Vuzix site, and I’m pretty sure you will be too… Took my favorites from the web as a little teaser, enjoy!
