Swarovski-Encrusted Lego Sculptures — Just In Time For V-Day!

Swarovski-Encrusted Lego SculpturesOkay guys, let’s have a little talk here because I think that this sparkly and bling is getting a little out of hand.  Lego’s are something that have been around forever now – I know that I used to play with them all of the time.  Why make them luxury now?  What is the point?  Well, so that high-rollers can collect them of course!

These Swarovski-Encrusted Lego Sculptures are actually worth a heck of a lot of money and while they look cool; they were actually designed for Valentine’s Day specifically, which is right around the corner.  This particular collection is called ‘What Love Is’ and it was done up by Figjam Art.

If you are looking for luxury Lego’s, I can tell you that they are found right here … on this blog.

Give Your Switch Plates a Little Bling!

diametral-luxury-switch-platesSwitch plates. You know what switch plates are, right? The little things that go around light switches and electrical sockets — the height of mundane, you know what I’m saying? Sure, there are decorative switch plates out there, people buy them or paint them to match their decor — but you ain’t seen nothing like this before.

These switch plates are made by Diametral, and they are strictly a luxury item. How luxurious are they? Well, they are studded with none other than Swarovski crystals, how’s that for a starter?

They come in a spectrum of fifteen different designer colors, and even more than that, you can get them stylized even more, with a leaf motif, or in silver or gold.

Forget the lights, you’ll be able to illuminate any room with the sheer bling factor alone!

Are $32K Computers the Wave of the Future?

gaiser_02_12No, this is not a tastefully and expensively decorated knick knack box. Quite the contrary, it is one of the new Gaiser High End PCs — what the company presumably hopes will be the next wave of luxury computers.

The luxurious machines work just like the considerably less expensive computers most of us currently have. The difference is, of course, that our computers are not covered in some serious bling — 24 carat gold leafing, not to mention Swarovski crystals — and they do not cost a whopping $32,300. Keep in mind, you could buy a car for that price. That is worth two semesters of college, if not more!

Given the price, you sort of have to wonder why they did not just go all out and decorate these computers — of which there are many designs — with diamonds. Maybe it is because Swarovski crystals are so trendy right now.

While these computers are unquestionably high end, one does have to question the necessity of such a machine.

The Name’s No. 9 — Bond No. 9

harrods-bond-no-9-perfumesBond No. 9 has long been a bastion of luxurious fragrances, and they are nearly as well known for the ostentatiously awesome, innovative designs for the bottles in which their divine scents are kept. With Harrods for Him and Harrods for Her, the company has outdone even itself.

Insofar as the scents themselves go, nothing more needs to be said beyond the fact that Laurent Le Guemec, famed parfumer, created them. The fellows are provided a scent alive with sandalwood and musk, violet leaf and rhubarb leaf, lavender and chamomile, with a sprinkling of pimento leaves and star anise. For the fairer sex, the scent is a mixture of vetiver, neroile, tuberose, and a number of other spices and scents — even leather!

The real kicker here is the design of the special editions, which feature Swarovski crystals on the bottles — we’re talking 3.4 ounce bottles going for $625. Otherwise you can get 3.4 ounces for $230 and 1.7 ounces for $155.

Swarovski Crystal Vision

This has to be one of the most interesting contact lens innovations I’ve seen in ages… With some sort of sci-fi technology Swarovski crystals are put into the contact allowing the wearer to have crystalized eyes without the stones bothering them in any way what so ever… It’s called Swarovski Crystal Vision and it’s pure bling for the eyes! :D

I’m going to have my girlfriend try these out — they’re so decadent!
