Look Here if Your Kid Needs a Corvette

When I was a kid, a ride in Barbie car was the height of luxury, but these days, if you have an extra thirty two thousand dollars — yep, that’s right, $32,000 — just weighing in your pocket, you can get your kid a Corvette. A classic 1956 Corvette C1, to be exact. It’s a Junior Classic Corvette, made for those youngsters who don’t really have a legit driver’s license just yet.

Still, it looks quite a lot like the original, barring the fact that it only gets up to thirty five miles per hour. Of course, that is awfully speedy for a kid, you know?

Supposedly, you can start early driving lessons with this car. But I have to say, you might be better off popping the thirty two grand into a college fund.

Buy a Cupcake Car if You Love Your Kids

cupcake-carOh yes, my luxury loving friends. You are looking at large cupcake cars.

Of course, they are not really cupcakes. Really cars, though? Of course they are! And for a mere twenty five hundred dollars — that’s $25,000 — you can get one. With a matching hat.

The cars travel up to seven miles per hour, and each one is custom designed.

The cars run on an electric motor with twenty four volts, as well as a heavy duty, durable battery.

Forget Barbie cars — heck, forget those battery powered little Escalades and the like.

What kid isn’t going to want a cupcake car to drive around the neighborhood?

A halfway cool one, that’s what. I can see this being a big draw for the four and under crowd, but I don’t know … I think even Liberace would have found this thing to be a bit too much.

Can’t Afford a Ferrari? Get Speakers Instead!

Art.Opera is a new speaker system. A new Ferrari system, from the DW Collection. They are meant to be the perfect speaker for people who love music and people who love Ferraris.

They are not only hand polished, the speakers are also coated in an anodized aluminum. They contain a high content of silver as well as copper wire with a very high purity. Thus it is also designed to combine the benefits of large speakers with those of small speakers.

They also have original factory painting right from Ferrari.

At $30,000, the speakers are less expensive than the car, of course, but they are still pretty pricey.

It is pretty obvious that when you are looking for luxury items, it can be extremely difficult to find some that actually look good, feel good and are all around incredible for your fact.  To be honest, I did not think that 25-carat gold sunglasses would actually look good but I am pleasantly surprised by the Porsche P’8499 24-carat gold sunglasses!

They not only look good, but they are made of gold … every inch of them.  They are also Porsche as a brand and while they are expensive, if you have the money to drop on a pair of sunglasses that are designer, you should absolutely take a look at getting these beauties!

They are only about six thousand dollars and for the average rich person that is just pocket change right?  Right!

SLR McLaren: The Only Chrome Car Of It’s Class!

I swear sometimes that the UK has it best.  Not only do they get the SLR McLaren firstly, but they get it in chrome and personally, I love chrome cars! Now, this car was first spotted just a little while ago and it is actually owned by El Hadji Diouf who plays for the Blackburn Rovers Football Club.  Surprisingly enough, this car was not as expensive as I thought that it was going to be.

It is just a mere 420,000 pounds and this car is for the car collector.  You should obviously not be driving it around everywhere, but heck, if I owned a car that was that freakin’ cool.  I think that I would end up driving it around everywhere just like El!

So the next time that you are looking for a car, you could take a look at getting the SLR McLaren, it is definitely the best of its class and hell, it’s decked out in freakin’ chrome!  You can not top that at all!

Zero NEV is also created to reach a magnanimous speed of 56 miles per hour or 90 km/hr, but according to Tazzari, they will limit the speed up to 25-45 miles per hour (40-72 km/hr). This is due to the reason that some states bear limitations on speed in their jurisdiction on a vehicle like Zero NEV.”

Bentley Unveils Continental GTC Speed in Detroit

The Speed range of vehicles from Bentley will be completed as the Bentley Continental GTC Speed takes a bow in the Detroit Auto Show.

The new GTC Speed gets a face lift and some equipment fixing in its interiors. The new member of the Speed line of Bentley sports a 6.0L engine with twin W12 turbo charger installed in its engine bay.

The vehicle is capable of roaring on the road with 600 horsepower with a torque of 553 lb-ft. The upgrade gives it 48 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque more than the standard GTC release.

This car becomes the most powerful Bentley convertible able to blaze on the road from 0 to 60 mph in a matter of 4.5 seconds and hits its top speed at 195 mph with the top retracted. It is capable of zooming at 200 mph when the roof is closed down.

Gold Fiat 500 by StudioM

StudioM is a high-end Italian car tuner that’s done a golden Maserati before and that has now come up with this Gold Fiat 500. The beauty of this already very sexy little Fiat is not the fact that it’s a golden one alone — it’s also the attention to detail in the car’s finish and the absolutel beauty of the jewel-finishes all over it…

I don’t have the $80,000 needed to get the basic car without any of the jewel-extras, but I do think that’s actually pretty good value for money, gold-wise! ;-)
