I think the Ferrari 599 GTB is enough of an eye-catcher in its natural red color — but apparently the Saudi Arabian guy driving this chromed out Ferrari 599 GTB does not really agree with me…

the chrome/silver plating is getting played out…especially in the ME. First car I saw with such look was an Audi A8…and its been done over and over again by others.
Personally, I don’t like it ( looks like driving a large kitchen silverware down the street) add to the FACT, it makes you look like your desperate for attention…the wrong type of attention if I may add.

Ive seen a Merc and a Audi with the same paint job in real life, so its not as uncommon as you might think.

1. Its just a chrome paint job over a black paint job. I actually have a chrome bike(motorcycle) painted the same way. This paint job probably cost the guy about 5000(US). You don’t have to be rich to get this done just smart enough to know not try and chrome your entire car.
2. All countries have their ups and downs.
3. As far as oil goes, that’s deeper story that any of us understand.
4. Any idea why the U.S. wants to import oil rather that use their own?
5. Any idea why things are the way they are? I,m talking about facts. Not just what you here and see on TV.

Well I live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and I’ve seen this car around a couple of times.
Just to clear things out, the owner of this car isn’t a prince. And no he does not make his money selling oil and getting “American” money. He’s just a businessman, Mr. Jawa, who has a passion for cars. He started the first rally in Saudi Arabia and he runs it. Plus, he owns alot of fancy restaraunts over here. He has a lot of other cars, and all of them are as hot as this. He’s just like any other “American” car collector or “American” businessman. And for the love of God, he makes SAUDI money because he he lives here in SAUDI Arabia and his business places are located in SAUDI Arabia where SAUDI people benifit from them and pay him their SAUDI money. Then he uses that SAUDI money to buy his cars or whatever he wants to buy.
How the hell did you guys manage to involve America in this? How? Saudi man. Saudi money. Saudi soil. Itallian car. Where is the American part? If anyone hates Americans, it’s because they manage to involve “Americans are the best people in the world and everyone else is using their money for all the good stuff” in EVERY GOD DAMN TOPIC. If we’re all using your AMERICAN money, why the heck cant YOU - AMERICANS - use your OWN - AMERICAN - money to buy whatever the hell you want? And plus, America isn’t the only country that imports oil from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia provides 70% of the WORLDS oil. America DOES NOT = the world. No wonder there is war in the world when some people get so angry in a discussion that started about a car. Well we have seen earlier from MTM that the aluminium body of the Audi A8 has been polished and clear coated to crome finish. While the plastic bumpers have been treated with some kind of crome coating. The Ferrari 599 is also aluminium bodied so my guess is that the same process has been used on this car.
