Barbie Gets some Bvlgari Bling
When it comes to jewelry, it is all about Bvlgari — or Bulgari, whatever happens to be your preference. No matter how you spell it, however, that is the jewelry you drool over, that is what you covet; that is the designer you go for when you want something elegant, sophisticated, classic but edgy, top of the line and one of a kind. And when we think about fashion trends over the years, when we think about what — and who — little girls aspire to for better or for worst, we think about Barbie.
So what could be better than putting Bvlgari and Barbie together? That is, in fact, exactly what has been done for the Rewrite the Future project, part of Save the Children International.
Barbie has become the new spokeswoman for the project, and as an ambassador, she gets to wear a gorgeous Bvlgari ring in silver. Inside the ring, the words “Save the Children” are engraved. Barbie lovers, philanthropists, and anyone else who has the cash can get one of these rings for a prized Barbie for $555.
