Look Here if Your Kid Needs a Corvette

When I was a kid, a ride in Barbie car was the height of luxury, but these days, if you have an extra thirty two thousand dollars — yep, that’s right, $32,000 — just weighing in your pocket, you can get your kid a Corvette. A classic 1956 Corvette C1, to be exact. It’s a Junior Classic Corvette, made for those youngsters who don’t really have a legit driver’s license just yet.

Still, it looks quite a lot like the original, barring the fact that it only gets up to thirty five miles per hour. Of course, that is awfully speedy for a kid, you know?

Supposedly, you can start early driving lessons with this car. But I have to say, you might be better off popping the thirty two grand into a college fund.

Insomniacs Need Suffer No More — Sleep in Luxury!

lightsleeperInsomnia is more widespread than most of us might imagine, with slow sleep insomnia — i.e., it takes you just short of forever to unplug all the circuits and finally fall asleep — being probably the most common type. Well, my fellow insomniacs, forget about counting sheep or dogs or pastries or cars or what have you; LightSleeper renders it obsolete.

Sleeping pills can be addictive, sleepy time teas and the like sometimes don’t work, warm milk is rather disgusting — so what do you do? Turn to the LightSleeper, which was designed by someone who had difficulty falling asleep herself.

What does it do? The device is set up to project a light across the ceiling of your room in a circular motion — that is what supposed to make you fall asleep.

Christian Dior second generation phoneChristian Dior is a designer that I have been waiting to release a phone for quite some time now.  Not only is Christian Dior one of those designers that has been around for quite some time, but the quality of things that he puts out is absolutely breathtaking and I love – love everything he touches! 

Well ladies and gentlemen, just in time for Christmas, Christian Dior put out this beautiful, second generation cell phone.  This beautiful phone will actually be launched in December and it will feature a gold plated and black PVD-coated phone with some bling-bling crystals in there.

$13k is what will get this phone for you … and that is cheap for a luxury phone, right?

Lamborghini’s Latest Christmas Gift: Shopping Already?

Lamborghini’s Latest Christmas GiftChristmas is right around the corner folks and I have to say that this year is filled with luxury.  Lamborghini has just released their Christmas collection and I have to say that I have been waiting for this particular collection to be released.  This is a limited edition gift box that includes a slew of things … that look awesome.

For example, the Lamborghini actually has limited edition gift-boxed candles and as well as some ornaments that were both inspired by the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni.  The color scheme for these little things is blue and white and really … it looks awesome.

However, if you are not a blue and white fan, they have tons of other colors (okay – eight colors) and if you don’t want this gift set, tons of winter clothing, t-shirts and calendars are in the works.

Of course, they are not really cupcakes. Really cars, though? Of course they are! And for a mere twenty five hundred dollars — that’s $25,000 — you can get one. With a matching hat.

The cars travel up to seven miles per hour, and each one is custom designed.

The cars run on an electric motor with twenty four volts, as well as a heavy duty, durable battery.

Forget Barbie cars — heck, forget those battery powered little Escalades and the like.

What kid isn’t going to want a cupcake car to drive around the neighborhood?

A halfway cool one, that’s what. I can see this being a big draw for the four and under crowd, but I don’t know … I think even Liberace would have found this thing to be a bit too much.
